First visit and I LOVED IT!! Super Chill guy attending and super helpful!! Im trying to stop going to Starbies but struggle to find places who can make comparable drinks. I should have got his name but this guy came through!! The shaken expresso dupe was absolutely perfect! I also got the pistachio matcha and OmG!! Another perfect drink!! Both were quality 👌and not too sweet. I could taste the quality coffee and ceremonial matcha Not normally a spot I would stop in but I do pass buy regularly so this will be my new go to when I'm in the area. They also have a connecting Barbershop and a cozy sitting area. Definitely a place you gotta check out!

We found this gem of a coffeeshop while on family vacation. Denise the owner was a sweetheart and we had some cups of delightful drip coffee. It was done right. She recommended some local spots. Uber chic refashioned industrial space shared with some other meaningful businesses. They've been open a year and a half. Limited indoor seating but best coffee yet in the barrio district for us. Small businesses for the WIN. Thanks for being awesome!

I was at Shepherds for the second time today, and I enjoyed it the first visit, but the second time blew me away! My friend and I ordered a coconut strawberry cold foam matcha, a “milk & honey”, and a straight espresso shot. Everything was very, very tasty. The espresso was super smooth and had some fun hints of chocolate and fruit behind it; the matcha was good, and the cold foam topping was exquisite; and the milk & honey special drink was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The interior is pretty industrial-vibes, with exposed ceiling and concrete floors, but it’s a nice space. They have a small barber shop subletting, you can sit outside in the side yard, and there is a living-room style set up with couches and armchairs right next to the bar. Good people here, too! Worth checking out, one of my favorite coffee shops in San Diego currently.

Overall 10/10. You can’t go wrong with their infamous Milk and Honey Specialty drink. I have to say, it’s probably the best drink I’ve had in a while, definitely not sweet like other places I’ve been to. I also had to try the chocolate chip banana bread along with the ham and cheese croissant, both delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with the perfect amount of sunlight. I may have found my new coffee spot. Thank you guys for the amazing service! 💛

Parking is a bit tough due to its location and construction. However, it’s a cool spot with a unique menu. Got the Milk & Honey Latte hot. It was pretty good but a tad bit too sweet. Would like to try the other items and probably would ask to keep it less sweet. Overall, good new coffee place to go to.
